Wakey! Wakey!

Wakey!Wakey! is an Brooklyn indie rock band, I just love their music. Their lyrics are amazing, I've downloaded all the songs I could possibly download by them, thanks to iTunes and I really cannot stop listening to them! 
I am ultra excited to say I'm seeing them live in London very soon!

I love lots of unique American bands like HelloGoodbye and the All American Rejects, but seeing as I live in the UK it's been very rare for these bands to tour.

I first discovered Wakey!Wakey! whilst watching one of my favourite American soaps, One Tree Hill. Micheal Grubbs the lead singer from the band, stars in the programme as 'Grubbs`.

He plays a bartender but we all know he's more talented in singing and playing the piano.

Lucky for him Haley and Paton own a recording studios and label. He just happens to fall in love with the manager of Red Bedroom Records, Miranda, who convinces Grubbs to record an album. Unfortunately she got deported back to the UK. Grubbs being the crazy guy he is, proposes to her. During the episodes Grubbs plays his songs and I just had to google them,

and I am now so glad I did!
